Christopher Booker is a special correspondent and producer for PBS NewsHour & PBS Weekend. From music, culture and the downstream politics of America he speaks with people about what they do, why they do it and how they found it. He also teaches at Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.

Previously he worked as a video journalist for the Financial Times in New York City, covering U.S. politics and the American economy after the 2007 - 2008 financial crisis.  Outside of journalism, he has produced short form documentaries for the United Nations.

He spent his early professional days as a video & multimedia journalist for the Chicago Tribune and an adjunct professor at Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. In 2009, he left the Tribune to join Medill's campus in Doha, Qatar as an assistant professor.

He lives north of New York City with his wife and two kids and for now, can still ollie.
