I am a correspondent / producer for PBS NewsHour Weekend in NYC.

Outside of my time with PBS NewsHour Weekend, I am a part-lecturer with Columbia's School of International and Public Affairs.

Before joining PBS, I worked as a video journalist with the Financial Times .

I started my career in 2004 as a video & multimedia journalist for the Chicago Tribune and as an adjunct professor with Northwestern's Medill School of Journalism. In 2009, I was invited to join Medill as an assistant professor and spent nearly two years on their campus in Doha, Qatar.

Besides that, I live north of New York City with my wife & two kids, play soccer & hang vintage skateboards on the wall.
